Holiday Home Hire

Hiring one of our Thistle Award holiday homes for a week, a weekend or a short break is a popular option for visitors who want the flexibility of a self-catering holiday. It’s also a great way of sampling the benefits of holiday home ownership at Thurston Manor.
New in 2009 the lodges for hire in our peaceful Glen setting have proved very popular. All lodges come fully equipped with a furnished deck area.

Stay in one of our small fleet of 2 bedroom and 3 bedroom holiday homes or lodges and enjoy Thurston Manor’s stunning location and superior facilities. We also have a holiday home which is adapted for use by the less able (meeting VisitScotland’s Category 2 of accessibility) which is situated close to the park’s amenities.

All holiday homes and lodges come with fully-equipped kitchens, including microwave, and a TV/DVD player. There is gas central heating and double‑glazing too, although the Scottish weather is usually better than English visitors expect! Some lodges also come equipped with either a dishwasher or a washer/dryer.

Bed linen is included in the price of all Swan 2 & 3 units. Bed linen, towels and a Welcome Pack are included in the price of all Glen 2, Glenluxe 2 & 3 and Swan lodges.. Every home also has its own picnic table and chairs.

A major benefit of hiring a holiday home at Thurston Manor is that you get to enjoy all our entertainment and facilities. This includes free, unrestricted use of the leisure centre with its swimming pool, fitness suite, sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi.

2010 Hirefleet Tariffs

• Infants should be included in the total number of occupants. Please request a travel cot at the time of booking.
• Above prices include bed linen, gas, electric and membership to the Leisure Centre. Towels and welcome packs are provided in our Glen 2, Glenluxe 2 & 3 and Swan lodge units only.
• A deposit of £100 is required to confirm all bookings, this is non-refundable. Balances are due for payment 6 weeks prior to arrival. All short breaks require to be paid in full at the time of booking. Cancellations can only be accepted in writing and should be accompanied by a Doctor’s certificate. We recommend all customers take out an insurance policy which covers cancellation.
• Advance bookings are not generally taken for short breaks in July and August but short breaks may be available as late bookings.
  Holiday homes will be available from 4pm and must be vacated by 10am on day of departure.
• A £50 deposit is required per week or short break payable on check in, this will be refunded within 7 days of departure if the unit is left in a satisfactory condition.
• A limited number of our 2 and 3 bed caravans are smoking units all other units are non smoking, please request when booking.
• A limited number of our 2 and 3 bed caravans take dogs, please ensure you tell us when booking that you are bringing a dog (max 2 per unit). Dogs should not be allowed on the furniture.
• These prices include VAT at 17.5%. Credit card surcharge 1.35%.
