Caravan Touring & Camping
Thurston Manor is an ideal spot to spend some or all of your touring or camping holiday. You’ll enjoy first class facilities, and can experience everything that our park, including the entertainments program and leisure centre, has to offer.
All our pitches are serviced with an electric hook-up. Caravan and motor home owners can also choose one of our ‘super pitches’ that are hard standing and provide hook ups to water and grey waste disposal. Our clean, well-equipped and fully-heated shower block provides:
- Constant hot water for showers and dishwashing
- Separate disabled shower room (which can also be used for family bathing)
- Baby changing facilities
- Laundrette (washing machines and dryers)
- Toilets
- New in 2009 – family wet rooms

- All super pitches are 30 feet long, have hard standing with limited pitches taking an awning.
- All serviced pitches are at least 24 feet long (most being 30 feet), please request the longer pitch if you need it. All pitches are on grass and take an awning or a gazebo.
- Hard ground pegs will be required for all awnings and tents.
- All tents over 14 feet wide must book two pitches (which would include two cars, four adults and all children 10 years and under).
- Bank holidays and weekends in July and August – a three night minimum stay applies for all advance bookings. Late bookings will be accepted for less than three nights should there still be availability.
- The above prices include membership of the social club, use of the leisure centre is at an additional cost. Some entertainment is by ticket only and may be restricted to those over 14; children’s entertainment is generally only available in high season, please ask when making a booking.
- Children aged 10 years and under are only permitted to use the social and leisure club facilities if accompanied by an adult.
- A non-refundable deposit of £25.00 is required at the time of booking with the balance being payable on arrival.
- All prices inclusive of VAT at 17.5%.Credit card surcharge 1.35%.
